The following table summarizes important deadlines for doctoral students and their supervisors. Please note that some deadlines may change due to adjustments in the start of the semester.

Fall semester
September 30	Enrollment for first-year students
Registration week:	Last day for submitting status declarations and course selections
October 15	Application for comprehensive exam (for 4th semester students)
December	Submission of summary required for semester report Submission of summary for comprehensive exam Submission of publication list (with credits indicated) for final exam Submission of proposals for new courses
Examination period:	mid-term report, doctoral student house conference status statement for the following semester course registration for the next semester

Spring semester
February 28	first-year student registration
Registration week:	status declaration last period for submitting course registration
March 15	Application for comprehensive exam (for 4th semester students)
