Alumni

Graduates of the Doctoral School of Materials Science and Technology at Obuda University are predominantly employed in education, research or the competitive sector. Approximately 40% of them work as lecturers or researchers at higher education institutions, and half of this group continues their careers at prestigious foreign universities (such as Lakehead University in Ontario, Canada, or TU Bergakademie Freiberg in Germany). 

A similar proportion of our graduates can be found in the competitive sector, working for both domestic and international companies, such as Semilab or Computacenter IT in Hatfield, UK. 

In addition, one-fifth of our students remain closely involved in research and development and continue their professional activities as employees of academic research institutes. Our graduates, who are now experienced teachers, researchers, or even managers, regularly share their opinions on the usefulness and shortcomings of their time at the doctoral school, thereby contributing to raising the standard of doctoral training.
