Graduates of the Doctoral School of Materials Science and Technologies at Óbuda University primarily pursue careers in education, research, or the private sector. Approximately 40% of them work as lecturers or researchers in higher education institutions, with half of this group continuing their careers at prestigious international universities, such as Lakehead University in Ontario, Canada, or TU Bergakademie Freiberg in Germany.
A similar proportion of our graduates are employed in the private sector, both domestically and internationally, at companies such as Semilab or the UK-based Computacenter IT in Hatfield.
Additionally, one-fifth of our graduates remain closely connected to research and development, with most of them working as researchers in academic research institutions.
